Bonnie Lou Higdon, age 69, of Leitchfield, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025.

She was born December 9, 1955, in Leitchfield to the late Hurley and Lucy Kennison McCombs. Bonnie loved being outdoors, working in her garden and flowerbeds. She found peace watching her hummingbirds. She lived for her children and grandchildren. She was a former employee of Bel Cheese.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Higdon; an adopted daughter, Jennifer Odom; two sisters, Gennie Woodcock and Mary McCombs and three brothers, Freddie, Bobby and Honkie McCombs.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Joe Higdon (Marney), Alice Higdon (Kelly), Devon Higdon, Cami Stevens and Lynn Honeycutt; six grandchildren, Alyssa Miller (Quentin), Caden and Jenna Higdon; Kayley Buckner (Brittany), Braden Thomas and Jessica Odom; a brother, Billy McCombs; a sister, Stella Logsdon; a son-in-law, John Odom and several step-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
