Robert Louis "Bob"  Pence, age 80, of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, at his home.

He was born on June 28, 1942, in Grayson County KY, the son of the late Wilbur Pence, Sr. and Clara Belle Watkins Moore.

He was employed at Gates Rubber Company in Elizabethtown for 38 years, an Army Veteran, member of the Kentucky National Guard, retired bus driver at Hardin County School District, a member of the East Grayson County Fire Department and a member of the White Mills Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife Glenda Pence of Big Clifty; one son, James R. (Karen) Pence of Virginia; one granddaughter, Kimberly Pence of Stafford, Virginia; a brother, Wilbur Pence, Jr. of White Mills; a step- brother, Rex Howard (Pam) of Bowling Green, KY; two sister-in-laws, Julie Pence of Elizabethtown and Sharon Pence of Louisville and several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Delores Hart Pence; his stepmother, Lena Bell Pence; his stepfather, Charles Moore; sisters Lillian Hart and Marlene Browning; brothers, Willie Pence, and Allen Pence; and a stepbrother, Jimmy Howard.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM (CDT), Friday, June 9, 2023, at Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson with Bro. Tim Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10AM to 8PM (CDT), Thursday and after 9AM (CDT), Friday at the funeral home.
