Alva Curtis Gussler was born in Ashland, KY.

He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran.

He was married to the late Mildred Loretta Polland Gussler and was the son of the late Alva C. and Ida Huff Gussler.

He is survived by two sons: Michael Gussler of Clarkson, KY and John Gussler of Mt. Airy, GA.

He was preceded in death by his Wife and Parents.
